Eh, just helping out 3 other folks via SOS with this quest to slay an Elder Dragon. This time we take on a high rank Kirin (which is really more of a unicorn than an Elder Dragon, by the way). Call it whatever you want, I'm calling it a unicorn. An electric unicorn, that is.
** Please note that I had already done this quest several times to farm Kirin's material. **
To be honest, hunting Kirin (especially at High Rank) can prove to be quite a pain and a bit of a nuisance to some people since it likes to move around a lot and loves to spam its lightning bolts all over the place. I only started getting good with the Insect Glaive after struggling against Kirin with the Bow and doing only fairly decently with the Hammer. Seems like it worked out nicely, I guess.
Oh and be sure to check somewhere around the middle of the video for a neat trick I managed to pull off. Turns out you can actually ride the Kirin as if it were a horse! Pretty clever, huh?
